Beier Nursery is located in the countryside of Aldergrove - a nice drive out of the city. We are a family-based operation and have been in the business since 1986, making this our 17th year.

Our specialty is "Victorian Moss Baskets', available in a variety of sizes. Our goal is to offer our customers TOP QUALITY baskets and bedding plants. Our plant selection is from top world-renowned breeders such as Proven Winners/Proven Selections, Fischer, Simply Beautiful and Flower Fields. These are the lines we use in our Victorian Moss Baskets, so you'll have beautiful baskets that perform all summer long, until frost. We use the BEST, so YOU'LL have the best! Don't settle for anything less or for any old 'no-name' brand of plants. We grow our plants right here on the farm, then we design and create all of our baskets and containers. So leave the commercial garden centers behind and come direct to the grower - Beier Nursery!

We like to experiment, trying new combinations of plantings using perennials, grasses and annuals - for extraordinary container appeal. We also carry a good selection of 'frost-free' pottery to enhance your patio. For added fun, we like to create 'Living Wreaths' and 'Topiaries'.

For TOP QUALITY baskets, plants and friendly customer service, come to Beier Nursery in Aldergrove!

Erikson's Daylily Gardens offer you a parklike setting to view the largest collection of daylilies in Canada. The gardens are open to the public for the month of July during peak bloom time. Hybridizing is a passion for Pam Erikson - hoping to create a new generation of daylilies to dazzle even the seasoned gardener!

We offer a mail-order catalog for those who cannot come to visit with us in person, and a wholesale list for landscapers and growers. In addition to over 2,800 varieties of daylilies on hand, our retail outlet now offers a full selection of Oriental and Asiatic lilies, a wide variety of hosta, euphorbia, digitalis and many other companion perennials and shrubs. If you would like to receive our mail-order catalog please send $3.00 to the address above.

Growing daylilies, along with a multitude of other interesting plant material, is not just a business at Erikson's - it's a passion. Our gardens were designed to offer peace and tranquility as you walk through the paths, with selected seating areas for a rest or just to take in the fragrance and quiet of the garden. Due to the uneven grounds and the extensive hybridizing program, we are sorry to say that we are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Good walking shoes are a must, and if you bring small children with you they must be kept with you at all times.

In July, for 2008 it will be July 5th & 6th, we will again be hosting our annual Peak Bloom Open House and will have other exhibitors present in the garden for your enjoyment - artists, crafts, other nurseries, and Master Gardeners to answer your gardening questions! Keep checking the Upcoming Events section of this website for full details, or call Pam at 604-856-5758. We look forward to seeing you in the garden!

Island Garden Nursery is a garden oasis in the midst of the Fraser Valley farmlands. Garry and Marilyn Paling, proprietors, have been presenting a fine-quality selection of plant material, trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, etc. for the past six years at this location. Garry has, this past year, added some unique topiary evergreens.

Much of the nursery stock has been field grown on-site, sold balled and burlapped in the spring. Most stock, however, is sold year-round, in container.

Fall is another great planting time, providing good opportunity to view the glorious colours and hues of the leaves of various plants and trees.

At Island Garden Nursery we endeavor to provide a clean, esthetically pleasing environment in which the customer can browse around, enjoy the sights and sounds of the country and obtain honest information and help in choosing suitable plants or trees for their landscaping needs. We also offer advice and recommendations for plant material appropriate for container planting for balconies, decks, etc.

We hope that you will make Island Garden Nursery your destination if you are looking for quality, reasonably-priced nursery stock - or just drop by and check out what we have to offer!

A brief history…

Tuscan Farm Gardens is a family run enterprise located in Langley, British Columbia, the heart of the Fraser Valley.

For more than a dozen years, visitors to Tuscan Farm Gardens hiked along wooded trails, strolled through fields of lavender and wildflower meadows, celebrated special events, visited the apothecary shop, stayed for lunch and often, the night.  Then the garden gate closed.

Newly relocated on original Hudson’s Bay farmland, Tuscan Farm Gardens continues to be committed to organic farming, directing our focus to producing plant based body care products made with the finest natural ingredients, organic herbs and pure essential oils.   We do not use harsh chemicals.  Our preservatives are plant based.  As a local boutique producer we have no intention of super sizing our company.  Our product line is not huge but adequate.  Most products do double duty...our way of leaving a softer, smaller footprint.  Packaging is recyclable, attractive but not excessive.

What’s in a Name?

Inspired by a life altering visit to Tuscany, a region of Italy famous for its love of the “ terroir” (earth) and the “dolce vita” ( good life) the word Tuscan is, to us, a blissful state of mind!  With each of our hand made products we invite you to…

RESTORE THE DOLCE VITA!
