PAM ERIKSON'S YEAR 2009
DAYLILY INTRODUCTIONS

This has been a year like no other - with highs and lows never before experienced.   While we have many seedlings that are ready for introduction,  we are opting to introduce most of them for the 2010 season.  To that end, I have decided to introduce just one new daylily this year - but a daylily for a very special occasion.  Anyone who has visited the nursery over the years have more than likely met our son, Andrew.  Andrew has helped in the nursery since he was only ten years old, taking over all the retail sales during his last year in high school.  While he is still a big part of the gardens and nursery, he is now in his second year apprenticeship in metal fabricating at Kwantlen University and also works fulltime in that trade.  This past year brought more joy to his life as he asked his girlfriend, Jessica, to be his wife.  We are thrilled beyond belief and felt it only fitting to have the one introduction this year dedicated to this very special event! Orders may be placed now to guarantee spring delivery. All new introductions are single fan divisions (you may get a double depending on the variety). Ordering and Shipping Information:

The daylilies are individually priced - for Canadian orders add shipping ($10.00 for B.C. orders; $18.00 for Alberta and Sask; $24.00 for the rest of Canada). BC residents must add an additional 7.0% PST. For US orders, the flat rate shipping price is $15.00 plus $30.00 agriculture inspection fee. (The agriculture inspection fee is per box, NOT per plant). If paying by US check, please total your order, shipping and inspection fee and deduct 10% off the total for the exchange in the dollar.

Andrew and Jessica's Wedding, Daylily    *
This flower stands 24” tall, blooms midseason, with 5” flowers of soft cream with pink overtones, gentle ruffles, wire gold edge and fabulous deep lime green throat!  Although a tetraploid (and dormant!), I love this flower for its elegance and gentle color - a stunning companion to any deeper purple flowers or foliage.  There is something very soothing about light pastels in the garden and this one fits that criteria perfectly!  An added bonus is that it has a light fragrance!  I think I wanted to name this for the happy couple because the flower, just as they do, bring me a sense of peace and contentment.
