PAM ERIKSON'S YEAR 2007
DAYLILY INTRODUCTIONS

In my breeding program, I have many lines in progress - my favorite of which are the miniature daylilies, geared toward promoting more container growing of daylilies by gardeners with small spaces or patio gardens. Soft pinks with unique and distinctive eye patterns are a particular trait I look for, along with long season of bloom and tolerance to cold nights. The following are all available for shipping in spring 2007 - to both the U.S. and Canada. Orders may be placed now to guarantee spring delivery. All new introductions are single fan divisions (you may get a double depending on the variety). Please forward your check (including applicable charges and shipping fees - see below) including your full name and address, including zip or postal code to: Erikson's Daylily Gardens, 24642 - 51 Ave., Langley, B.C. Canada V2Z 1H9. Please state clearly how many of which cultivar you require. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to phone me at (604) 856-5758 or email to: pamela1@istar.ca

Please advise if you would also like to receive our full catalog.

The daylilies are individually priced - for Canadian orders add shipping ($10.00 for B.C. orders; $18.00 for Alberta and Sask; $24.00 for the rest of Canada). BC residents must add an additional 7.0% PST. For US orders, the flat rate shipping price is $15.00 plus $30.00 agriculture inspection fee. (The agriculture inspection fee is per box, NOT per plant). For the first time, our entire collection of new introductions for 2007 are dedicated to one family - the members of the McCarthy family who reside in Burnaby, B.C. and their country estate located in Hatzic Prairie, just east of Mission, B.C.  Their country property is known as Shiloh Hill (Shiloh means “Place of Peace”) and consists of 16 extensively landscaped acres with several structures, including the main residence named “Mission Claire” in honour of William McCarthy’s daughter Claire and the city of Mission.

In addition to a leading a very full life as a property developer, manager and consultant, William McCarthy is an avid gardener, having completed the Master Gardeners and Advanced Master Gardeners programs, as well as earning a Certificate in Garden Design from UBC.  He is also a certified Bee Master, with his apiaries located at Shiloh Hill.  It is at this amazing property where he continues his extensive landscaping and gardening projects, having planted over 250,000 trees, shrubs, plants and bulbs to date!

Daylilies and roses and among William McCarthy’s favorites, and he has planted hundreds of both.  William and his family have been regular visitors to our gardens, and we consider it an honour to have been able to offer them the opportunity to have plants in their names.

The front cover showcases this collection with full descriptions just before our general listings.  As always, our new introductions are guaranteed hardy across the country, generally to zone 2-3.  We are particularly proud of this years intros as they have garnered much attention from visitors to the gardens in the past two years.  We will continue to endeavor to maintain this high quality of plant material in coming years and look forward to many more introductions that excite both us and you, the dedicated gardener!
