PAM ERIKSON'S YEAR 2008
DAYLILY INTRODUCTIONS

In my breeding program, I have many lines in progress - my favorite of which are the miniature daylilies, geared toward promoting more container growing of daylilies by gardeners with small spaces or patio gardens. Soft pinks with unique and distinctive eye patterns are a particular trait I look for, along with long season of bloom and tolerance to cold nights. The following are all available for shipping in spring 2008 - to both the U.S. and Canada. Orders may be placed now to guarantee spring delivery. All new introductions are single fan divisions (you may get a double depending on the variety). Please forward your check (including applicable charges and shipping fees - see below) including your full name and address, including zip or postal code to: Erikson's Daylily Gardens, 24642 - 51 Ave., Langley, B.C. Canada V2Z 1H9. Please state clearly how many of which cultivar you require. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to phone me at (604) 856-5758 or email to: pamela1@istar.ca

Please advise if you would also like to receive our full catalog.

Ordering and Shipping Information:

The daylilies are individually priced - for Canadian orders add shipping ($10.00 for B.C. orders; $18.00 for Alberta and Sask; $24.00 for the rest of Canada). BC residents must add an additional 7.0% PST. For US orders, the flat rate shipping price is $15.00 plus $30.00 agriculture inspection fee. (The agriculture inspection fee is per box, NOT per plant). If paying by US check, please total your order, shipping and inspection fee and deduct 10% off the total for the exchange in the dollar.

Ed Schellenberg's Bromley Splendor, Daylily    *
Ed Schellenberg was a man truly respected by all those who knew him, and even those who only knew of him.  He passed away tragically this past year, and has left an immense void in the world.  He was so many things - a loving husband and father, hard worker, and a true Christian man who always found time to help anyone in need.  Ed and his wife, Lois, were at our open gardens last summer - Lois’s sister Joanne is our ever-perky greeter at the gate each year.  We are honored to name this plant for Ed, with all proceeds donated to his children.   This daylily stands 24” tall, blooms midseason with big 5.5” blooms of deep gold with a huge purple eye, gold and purple edge and lime green throat!

PRESENCE OF ABSENCE (2008)           $50.00

This flower is named in honor of the Vancouver Aids Memorial Foundation.  The foundation built the Memorial, a British Columbia landmark of hope and courage dedicated to those lost to HIV/AIDS, to the caregivers who eased their passing, and to those who live with the presence of their absence.  All monies raised from the sale of this daylily will be donated to the Foundation.  This daylily stands proud at 30” tall, blooms midseason with 6” soft pink blooms.

Shirley Walkley, Daylily

This flower is named for my mother, in honor of her 75th birthday this year.  My mother is indeed one of the strongest women I have ever known - with a passion for life.  Hip surgeries and broken bones cannot hold this woman down!  She has worked hard and played hard her whole life and I predict she will continue to do so for many years!  Her daylily stands 22” tall, blooms mid-late season with lavender pink bi-color flowers and outstanding eye!

I’VE CROSSED TO THE DARK SIDE (2008)           $50.00

Ive Crossed to the Darkside, Daylily
This flower has so many meanings for me!  In addition to being the very darkest black-purple that we have ever produced, it was aimed at being a dedication to all of us women who have hit that magic big 5-0 this year!  Hot flashes and mood swings have not been pleasant, but my friends and I who have celebrated our half-century mark this year are taking it in stride, with the help of wine, beer, scotch and chocolate! So this one is dedicated to all the 1957 babies!!  This special miniature daylily stands 16” tall, blooms midseason with the afore-mentioned black-purple blooms, even blacker eye and lime green throat!
